The Living Water is partnering with Christ Laborers Church in Tanzania to establish The Potter’s Center. The Potter’s Center is a place designed for believers to receive in depth spiritual and vocational training needed to equip them in living out The Great Commission.
Located west of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the center’s campus will include classrooms for discipleship and vocational training, student dorms, and family housing for The Living Water’s discipleship director, Vincent Komba.
The Potter’s Center offer vocational training in trades such as brick making and mechanical repair. Those who once profited by practicing other religions that lead to death will now be equipped with skills needed to earn income as they follow Jesus into new life.
At The Potter’s Center, people who come to know Christ will be taught how to study God’s word for themselves. Working with The Living Water’s discipleship leaders, they will begin building a life of faith grounded in the truth of scripture; when they return to their homes they will be lay leaders equipped to lead others to Christ.The Potter’s Center will also offer vocational training in trades such as brick making and mechanical repair. On July 4th, 2021 we were able to celebrate the graduation of the first 10 disciples from the Potter’s Center in Tanzania. The disciples will now go out into villages where they will begin church planting and spreading the living water of Jesus in the unreached communities.We are expecting to have at least 60 students in the class of 2022. We are excited for this class to being their training in September!
